BATHROOM WATER FALL

EVER HAD A LEAKING FAUCET IN YOUR BATHROOM SIMPLY BECAUSE A LITTLE WASHER HAS WORN OUT?  OF COURSE, EVERYONE HAS BEEN THROUGH THAT.  YOU FIGURE THAT ALL IT NEEDS IS A REPLACEMENT WASHER AND THAT IS THAT.  WELL, NOT EVERY LANDLORD OR PROPERTY MANAGER FEELS THE SAME WAY.  TO SOME, DESPITE MONTHS OF INFORMING THEM THAT THE HOT WATER FAUCET IN THE TUB IS LEAKING AND PEALING THE PAINT OFF, THEY FEEL THAT SUCH IS UNIMPORTANT AND IGNORE IT.  THEN ONE WEEKEND, IT ERUPTS AND THE WATER FLOWS OUT LIKE NIAGARA FALLS AND FROM THE PRESSURE IT SPLATTERS ALL OVER THE WALLS AND OUT THE TUB.  YOU CALL THE OFFICE AND EXPLAIN THE SITUATION.  YOU PLACE THE CALL ON SPEAKERPHONE AND THEY CAN HEAR FOR THEMSELVES NIAGARA FALLS.  THE HEAT IN THE BATHROOM IS SO INTENSE AND THE PRESSURE FROM THE WATER SO STRONG, THAT THE COATING IN THE TUB HAS STARTED PEALING OUT EVEN FASTER.  MAINTENANCE NEVER CALLS OR COMES AS ALWAYS.





THE NEXT DAY IT TOOK SIX CALLS THROUGHOUT THE DAY, EACH TIME PROMISING THAT SOMEONE WOULD BE RIGHT OVER.  FINALLY, AROUND 5:35PM THEY DECIDED TO SHOW UP AND SAY THAT ONE COULD HAVE FIXED IT IF ONE HAD WANTED TO.  LET US THINK HERE,  ONE IS MULTI-DISABLED AND ONE RENTS (NOT OWN) AND WE ARE OBLIGATED TO FIX THE REPAIRS OURSELVES AS WELL.  HAD NO IDEA THAT THE LANDLORD - TENANT LAW STATED THAT.  OOPS, IT DOES NOT SAY THAT AT ALL.  IN FACT IT STATES THAT THE LANDLORD HAS RESPONSIBILITIES WHEN RENTING AN ABODE SUCH AS MAINTENANCE.
